Evolution of Viscous Dark Energy Models in Brans-Dicke Theory of Gravitation

Abstract. The present study is based on Bianchi type-V universe filled with dark energy and viscous fluid in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory of gravitation. We have discussed two models: the special form of deceleration parameter model and hybrid law model. It is found that due to viscosity, the effective equation of state parameter of dark energy models behaves like a phantom dark energy. An estimate of the dimensionless jerk and snap parameters are also studied for the dark energy models. It is observe that in the investigated models jerk and snap parameter support the recent observational data.
