Abstract. Pitch-angle diffusion phenomenon, caused by resonant interactions between parallel Alfven waves and relativistic electrons (E = (5 ÷ 15) MeV) are examined for inner Jovian's magnetosphere (D = 20RJ, RJ — the Jovian radius). Thus, working in the framework of the kinetic theory, the pitch-angle diffusion equation for the relativistic case is derived. From this equation, in stationary conditions one computes the Alfven wave spectrum and the stationary electron distribution established between the magnetic mirrors. Ultimately, the particle lifetime and the trapped electron flux between the magnetic mirrors are estimated. These theoretical results will be compared with experimental data.
