Abstract. The Muon Cherenkov Telescope is a system of water cherenkov detectors, using the coincidence technique to register cosmic ray muons. It is constructed in order to explore the variations of the muon component of the cosmic rays and their correlation with solar activity and variations in the Earth's magnetosphere [1,2].
