A Mathematical Model for the Lateral Distribution Function of the Atmospheric Cerenkov Light in EAS

Abstract. On the basis of simulated with CORSIKA code [1] events, the mathematical model of Cerenkov light lateral distribution function was precised. Extensive Air Showers (EAS) initiated by primary gamma-quanta with energies 3.1010 to 3.1012 eV and primary protons with energies 3.1011 to 3.1012 eV were considered. By solving of an overdeterminated system of non-linear equations, we could analyse experimental data in attempt to determine the kind and the energy of the initiating primary particle and it's arrival direction.
