Abstract. BVR CCD photometry of star-like and diffuse objects in two similar nearby irregular galaxies are presented. Both galaxies are now in post star burst stage. Using different forms of the method of the brightest stars their distance moduli are estimated to be 26.32 and 29.00 mag, respectively, corresponding to distances of 1.84 and 6.31 Mpc. We suggest the standard error of ≈ 0.4 mag or 20% of the distance.
