Abstract. The influence of the concentration effects on the dynamic range and the readings of the Model μLPS-16 particle counter and size analyzer about particle concentration in liquid and its distribution in channels has been investigated. The dependence of the readings on liquid flow rate through the Integrated Micro-Optical Liquid Volumetric sensor has been studied too. Recommendations are given for measuring particles in liquids with high or low viscosity. Measurement errors due to above-mentioned factors are discussed.
