Quasi Crystals and Non-Crystallographic Coxeter Groups

Abstract. Non-crystallographic Coxeter Groups W(H₂), W(H₃) and W(H₄) are introduced using quaternionic representations of their root systems. Their embeddings in the Weyl groups W(A₄), W(D₆) and W(E₈) are discussed. The maximal subgroups of W(H₄) are classified.
