Abstract. A new method called the method of self-similar approximations is applied here for calculating the spectrum of one-dimensional anharmonic oscillator. The advantage of this method is the possibility of reconstructing any sought function using only two first terms of the perturbation theory. Notwithstanding such a limited information, the whole spectrum of the anharmonic oscillator can be found with a very good accuracy for all energy levels and all anharmonicity constants with the maximal error of an order of 10-3.
