Abstract. A system of analytical functions which ensure to a certain accuracy the conformal transition of a semiinfinite strip to a semiinfinite strip with an ellipsoid perforation and vice versa is considered in this paper. Using this system, the distribution of the equipotential and current curves of the fuse-element, having a line of ellipsoid or circle perforations, is obtained and the resistance of the element in cold state is calculated.
