Turbulent Fields

Abstract. The present article discusses recent developments in the theory of turbulent fields. We review a phenomenological theory for the multi scale probability distribution functions of Eulerian velocity increments. Furthermore, we present an approach for the characterization of the statistics of Lagrangian particles in turbulent fields.
