Abstract. The gravitational lensing may provide an additional method for studying the inner structure of quasars. First, the extra flux magnification (from a few to 100 times) provided by the lensing effect enables us to obtain high signal-to-noise ratio. Second, the magnification of spectra of different images can be chromatic, i.e. the lines and continuum magnification due to microlensing can be wavelength-dependent. Here, we discuss the influence of microlensing on spectra of lensed quasars. Also we discuss a spectral anomaly in lensed QSO PG 1115+080.
