Abstract. We give a realization of the free fermion Fock spaces as free Leibnitz modules and a description of the corresponding super vertex algebras through super-bicharacters. The formulae for the operator product expansions and the normal ordered products of fields in terms of the super-bicharacters are then used as an alternative approach to bosonization.
